Senior Server Engineer - Cape Town City Centre
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Server Engineer or similar role as this requires a deep understanding of server architecture, setup, and maintenance
Proficiency in server-side languages and databases since it is crucial for managing and manipulating server data
Excellent problem-solving abilities showcasing your ability to identify and resolve server-related issues efficiently and effectively
Strong knowledge of system administration and IT infrastructure
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms such as Windows or Linux
Knowledge of network protocols and security (TCP/IP, HTTP, network protocols, firewalls, etc.)
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with various teams and stakeholders
Qualification:
Matric
Bachelor Degree or relevant diploma
Relevant certifications, such as Azure or AWS are advantageous
