Senior Software Architect - Cape Town City Centre
As a Senior Software Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting technical solutions within the Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment. Your primary responsibility will be to produce comprehensive technical specifications that align with business requirements, ensuring technical viability. Additionally, you'll design test plans and offer guidelines for performance and stress testing. Continuous research into industry trends and best practices will inform your evaluation of architectural and design patterns and principles.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant design and development experience in:
- Java
- Springboot
- JavaScript or Node.js
- AWS
- Terraform
- Linux
Qualifications (Minimum):
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred):
- A relevant qualification in Information Technology
Knowledge: Minimum:
- Detailed knowledge of:
- System architecture (technical design and implementation processes)
- Systems analysis and design
- UML or equivalent modelling language
- Technical Test Plan Design
- IT systems development processes
- Application development
- Standards and governance
Ideal:
- Detailed knowledge of:
- Banking systems
- Agile development life cycle
- Knowledge of UML
