Job Description
A giant in Financial Services is in urgent need of a Specialist in Business Performance Partnering on a 6 months contract basis, to ensure the implementation of financial policies, procedures and practicals at a divisional tactical level and to provide guidance and support management in dealing with all aspects of finance in accordance with such policies and procedures whilst also achieving operational goals and objectives.
The key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Implement financial policies, procedures and practices
- Compare and analyse financial data and produce detailed reports identifying trends, discrepencies and inconsistencies
- Perform analysis in business areas and provide insights to management on how to improve financial performance
- Assess business performance against budget/forecasts and business in implementing appropriate initiatives to meet budgets
- Perform financial modelling to support feasibility studies/business cases for new initiatives
- Service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction
- Cost modelling, cost controlling and governance adherence
As you will be responsible for hitting the ground running extensive experience is essential. You will also be hands-on involved with the department.
The requirements:
Qualification:- Completed Hons Degree in Commerce or equivalent
- Completed CIMA qualification
Experience:- 5 - 8 years experience in the field of financial reporting and business performance partnering
- Proven experience with building and running costing models
- 2 years experience working on Oracle FM
