Komatsu South Africa has an opportunity for a Senior Specialist: Cybersecurity to join the ICT Department team at Head Office, Germiston. The preferred candidate should have a Degree in Information & Communications Technology Certification in Cybersecurity (NQF Level 7) and should have at least 5 years’ experience in developing and implementing solutions to mitigate the risk of hacking, cyberattacks and other threats; as well as updating, maintaining and testing cyber security measures and architectures for ICT systems and projects. Bachelor's Degree in Information & Communications Technology in Cybersecurity Driver's License Certified Ethical Hacker Comptia Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate 5 years’ experience In-depth knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity and its related risks Understanding of ICT technologies & related risks to business processes Stays abreast of organisational cyber security risk mitigation strategies and planned & ad hoc cyber security audits. Remains up to date with newest risks & developments in cyber security. Provides Subject Matter Expertise into ICT strategy planning. Provides input into the development of cyber security policies & procedures. Provides advice & guidance to senior leadership on cyber security issues. Partners w/ business stakeholders to raise awareness of risk management concerns. Implements & maintains system security measures. Monitors & maintains organisational cyber security systems. Monitors technology projects for cybersecurity risk. Monitors compliance to organisational cyber security policies & procedures. Maintains cyber security risk awareness in conjunction with process owners. Provides feedback to senior leadership on risk assessments & audit results. Drafts recommendation reports for approval. Drafts regular reports of cyber security system integrity.
