Senior Support Technician Centurion - Centurion

Provide System and IT Support to clients daily. Maintenance of all existing software. Deployment of new Releases. SQL Database Maintenance. Troubleshoot software and hardware problems on workstations and servers. Perform equipment repairs if required. Assist in moving and setting up workstations, servers and peripherals, including basic networking support. Assist in administration and maintenance of AD accounts when needed. Perform other duties as assignedCompetencies Must have leadership skills and be able to work well in a team-orientated environment Must have advanced Microsoft skills Have the ability to challenge the status quo & identify new approaches to improve the effectiveness of processes. Have a relentless drive to do things better, and to strive for new standards of excellence Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must able to liaise with suppliers and members of the organisation at all levels. Must be able to function in a pressured environment independently. Be able to Multi-task. Good negotiating skills are essential. Ability to travel. Grade 12 National Diploma in Information Technology BCom Degree will be an added advantage Valid driver's license SQL knowledge and experience - non negotiable. Working with Android devices – advantageous 2-3 years' experience in System Support External Service Contract management experience
