Our client, a prominent multinational Construction and Manufacturing company with operations spanning across Africa, is in search of a proficient Senior Treasury Analyst to bolster their team. Based in Midrand, Gauteng, this role carries the pivotal responsibility of overseeing treasury management for the Sub-Saharan Africa region.Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive cash flow forecasting and analysis to ensure efficient cash and liquidity management. Execute hedging and funding strategies across diverse financial instruments, including Forex, loans, and deposits. Guarantee the availability of adequate funds to meet ongoing operational and capital investment needs. Cultivate and manage banking relationships, including negotiating contracts and providing regular cost assessments. Identify and implement enhancements in treasury-related processes to optimize efficiency. Update and uphold the Treasury Policy in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory standards. Supervise Exchange Control Applications and Renewals to maintain compliance. Generate timely treasury reports for informed decision-making. Assist in the digital transformation of the treasury department. Support the implementation and enhancement of the treasury management system and related processes. Oversee the month-end closing process for the treasury function. Complete monthly debt and foreign currency reports for the Group. Develop and enforce treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and address audit findings. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Demonstrated expertise in treasury operations, cash management, and financial analysis. Essential experience working with African countries. Profound understanding of financial markets, instruments, and risk management methodologies.
