Senior Vehicle Architecture Engineer

Cape Town

Minimum requirement and experience:

• BEng or MEng (Mechatronic or Electronic Engineering)
• 10+ years of relevant engineering development experience
• Willingness to travel overseas for variable periods
• Multi-skilled engineering experience in electrical, mechanical, controls and simulation disciplines.
• Proficiency in Electrical Vehicle architecture design, sub-systems design, HV Systems, battery management, high power DC charging, thermal management, HVAC systems, VCU and BCM Controllers and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead advanced powertrain projects
• Team management and development
• Drive innovation and strategy for alternative drive solutions
• Enhance business development
• Ensure legal and safety compliance
• Optimise financial performance and efficiency
