Stock control and movement of stock into and out of the Warehouse. Assist the DC Supervisor/Manager to control the staff of the Warehouse on a daily basis. Main Tasks The role is directly accountable for the following items, which constitute the Main Tasks of the position: Monitoring / Controlling of staff (Assisting the DC Supervisor/Manager) Controlling the work of the Warehouse personnel, receiving, picking and checking of products, to ensure that the daily quota of work and deadlines are met. Ensure that all Warehouse personnel are working efficiently and achieve maximum productivity. Assist with all Disciplinary Policies and Procedures and maintaining discipline and good working environment for all Warehouse personnel. Assist with on the job training of Warehouse staff to ensure they are kept up to date with any changes in Policies and Procedures. Assist with the daily planning and work allocation by liaising with the relevant department/s and daily requirements. Liaise with DC Supervisor on a daily basis. Handle Distributor queries and communicate on a regular basis with DC Supervisor Stock Control Ensuring that all stock movement is correctly done according to (SOP's) Perform a full Warehouse cycle count monthly by ensuring daily counts are performed throughout the Warehouse. Controlling of all Warehouse related activities. Stock rotation (FIFO) is done correctly. Correct shipping of all goods to 3rd Party Packers. Loading and off-loading of containers and deliveries from suppliers. Lock and unlock Warehouse and alarm activation. Follow up on the GRN's and incorrect deliveries. Administration Keeping all relevant documentation up to date and controlling stock by following all related Warehouse Procedures. Ensure that all attendance registers and overtime forms are kept up to date at all times. No stock may be issued or moved without proper documentation. All Status forms are controlled. Weekly and monthly reports on activities and work done. Daily follow up and feedback to the team regarding the picking/packing/returns of the product from 3rd party Packers and Suppliers. Returns are handled according to the SOP. Housekeeping Ensure that good housekeeping practices are met on a daily basis. Comply with all OHASA Rules and Regulations. Controlling and maintenance of all Warehouse equipment. Ensure that the Warehouse is kept neat, orderly and clean at all times by allocating staff to this task everyday. Compliance to MRA Regulations (Material Requirements Act) Make sure that all MRA Regulations are followed and adhere to in connection with all Warehouse activities and staff. Keeping up to date with all new Policies and Procedures required to comply with MRA Regulations. Communication Assist with communication to all staff, peers and suppliers. Responsible to replenish the “Sale and or Display Shelves” within the relevant DC's. Adhere to all OHS Regulations and Requirements. Be able to drive relevant Forklifts and have a relevant license. Other related activities You are to follow all reasonable instructions given to you by management. You may be required from time to time to assist in other related departments. You may be required to work overtime/extra time from time to time. You will be requested to work at events outside the premises from time to time. Technical Skills Following of all Company Policies and Procedures. Controlling of staff and stock Accuracy when controlling stock. Basic knowledge of Company Products and the layout of the Warehouse. Understanding of the FIFO stock control system. Ability to work to deadlines and work under pressure. Compliance with all Company Rules and Regulations. Co-operation and assistance given to other departments. Neatness of work in general. Following all Standard Operational Procedures. Adhere to all OHASA Regulations and Requirements. Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent qualification Good command of English Able to count and to be able to determine quantity on pallets. Able to work at a height of 6 meters and above. At least 2-3 years experience in a supervisory or equivalent position will be an advantage Behavioral Skills Excellent communication, teamwork and relationship building skills Excellent Interpersonal skills Must be detail orientated Have Customer Service skills Efficient time management skills and the ability to handle concurrent deadline pressure. Excellent planning and organizing skills Must be dependable and conscientious Emotional Intelligent and Mature Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent qualification Good command of English Able to count and to be able to determine quantity on pallets.
