Compile accurate customer machine analysis and reports including Machine Inspection Reports (MIR’s) and Technical Analysis Reports (TA’s).
Ensure safe work practice and Carry out risk assessment.
Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of own work are consistently and accurately maintained.
Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs and maintenance on generators and / or Earthmoving Equipment in workshops or on customer sites.
Remove and install Mechanical and electrical components.
Wiring electrical panels (MV and HV) and Maintain field service vehicle and equipment
Maintain professional image when representing Barloworld Equipment on customer site.
Quickly and efficiently deal with all customer electrical and Mechanical breakdowns.
Effective self-management and performance ownership.
Control contamination, own admin (labour booking, service reports, part returns, expenses etc.).
Qualified Electrician with post apprenticeship/learner ship experience.
Five years’ work experience advantageous. Applicable product knowledge
Driver’s license - Code B and Basic technical report writing
Machine specific technical knowledge and skills.
Some computer literacy (SIS, STW and ET) knowledge.
Basic trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
Additional electrical training and certificates advantageous
