Service Manager will be responsible for supervising all artisans, apprentices and assist the client with delivering a service. The service manager will ensure that the clients is satisfied with IMT field services and other services. The overview for the Service Manager job is to see that all IMT/CAMS field employees adhere to safety regulations, policies and are profitable whilst delivering a professional repair and maintenance service to all our clients. Operational Management Operational management including supervising and monitoring the sites labour force and their performance. Ensuring all material used and work performed is as per specifications. Ensure that trade skills are adequate and relevant to the project standards and requirements should they not be a full training or skills development proposal needs to be formulated and presented for approval and implementation. Identify, analyse, and solve problems in the field service area on all projects. Periodically inspect all installations Responsible for insuring OSHA (Health & Safety Act) standards and company safety policies are always complied with. Including Mine Health and safety as well as other applicable legislations. Maintain installations in accordance with the plan and procedure and maintain all site reporting and documentation. Take overall responsibilities of staff, scheduling, and work allocation. Take overall responsibility for day-to-day site activities, vehicles, plant, tools and equipment. Material management and control Reporting to project stakeholders Strategic Planning and service Excellence Compile, plan and manage the installation schedules through the life cycle of the projects. Facilitate project success by identifying what resources will be needed and when resources will be needed. Accountability regarding site compliance Assess site progress and facilitate corrective action. Manage project schedules. Minimize potential risks. Site capacity planning Regularly review of status and schedule for project progress and feedback reporting. Implement and train technicians and service advisors on Company strategic policy and processes. Examine and interpret the stakeholder's schedules. Resources Management Remedial discipline Coaching, training, motivating, and mentoring. Identification or training needs and remedial training in respect of technicians and service advisors Proper investigation and report of any misconduct related cases that may occur on site. Amicable resolution of staff queries. Responsible for submission of timesheets and productivity. Responsible for staff and work allocation. Relationship management Forming sound and ethical work relationships with all stakeholders Attend all meeting to be held and provide detailed feedback. Manage teams and ensure team coherence. Effective communication with superiors, peers, and sub-ordinates. Technical Conduct regular installation inspections. Ensure adequate trade skills per site. Compiles reports on equipment performance. Reporting Structure Preparing and circulating regular status update reports Updating superiors on any staff movements Execute and delegate responsibility as delegated by senior members of managements. Providing support and assistance to senior members of management Quality Assurance Manage quality control compliance for Field Service Auto Electrical Installations Ensure a high quality of workmanship and interface with stakeholders for quality inspections. Ensuring serve standards are maintained. Administrative and logistical management Maintain site diary and site instruction book. Maintain adequate control documentation. Manage installation schedule. Maintain all site reporting and documentation Safety Monthly safety meetings to be attended. Safety reports to be done in case of incident. Safety Audits to be done on site. To see that Safety regulations are adhered to by staff. All contractor's packs to be done and up to date Daily Tasks Planning board to be updates every day. Brief artisan about jobs to be done. Maintain the stock and all that's needed to do the job in order. Feedback to the customer about the job to be done by who and when. De brief artisan after job about the problems he faced to the job. Maintain feedback from the artisan get the report and the job card. Maintain the job quote done and collect the order number. Send the order number to the sales & service coordinator. Site visits schedule an audit and customer feedback on our service. Resolve issues as they arise. One-hour training session to up lift the knowledge of the artisans. Placing of people, a week Vehicle and tool inspections audit Weekly labour report Housekeeping and filing Monthly Tasks Forecast labour return a month. Ensure labour hours are recorded correctly. Standby roster and annually leave 3 months in advance. Maintain an updated shift schedule. Achieve monthly labour targets set out from management. Handling in monthly journey plan Monthly stock requirement forecast service side. Inform all employees of monthly meetings 5-6 years experience as a Service Manager in the mining industry Grade 12 N3 Electrical Engineering Knowledge/Skills: Auto electrical & CAS Customer service Excellent communication skills Problem solving skills Presentation skills Driver's license Medically fit R 66,000.00 Apply Now
