Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Field Service Sales Technician to join their team based in Johannesburg. Electrical-, Millwright Trade or Similar Qualification Completed Experience in repairing equipment for end users and/or technical sales of vacuum pumps, water pumps, compressors, valves, or other industrial equipment to industrial markets. Strong technical abilities and practical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional demeanor. Effective team player. Driven to meet deadlines. Adaptable to change. Capable of multitasking effectively. Energetic and motivated. Proficient in report writing. Able to work well under pressure. Confident with strong reasoning abilities. Self-starter with a proactive approach. Results-oriented and focused on sales. Independent and able to maintain focus on objectives and targets with minimal supervision. Must be willing to travel within Africa and possess a passport. Effectively communicate with customers daily, both verbally and via email. Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Engage with existing and new customers to maintain relationships and grow the business. Identify new prospects and conduct cold calls to potential customers. Set and pursue ambitious sales targets to generate new sales. Expand field service operations by securing active service contracts. Track previous services and encourage customers to return for additional services. Generate service repair sales. Promote new sales. Provide on-site problem-solving. Install and repair vacuum pumps and systems on-site. Develop and implement sales strategies with the team. Submit required reports on time (weekly and monthly). Build relationships with key stakeholders, such as Technicians, Engineers, Maintenance Managers, Consultants, Contractors, Distributors, and End Users. Provide accurate and consistent feedback to management. Remuneration: R15 000 – R30 000 (Negotiable), Provident Fund, Company vehicle, Petrol Card and Cell Phone
