The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for ensuring the smooth operation of food processing machinery. As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in maximizing equipment uptime, minimizing downtime, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of our production processes Trade Test Electrical or Millwright Fluent in Afrikaans and English Proven experience as a service technician, preferably in the food processing industry. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery. Proficiency in reading schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals. Familiarity with PLCs, pneumatic systems, and hydraulics is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency service calls as needed.
