Reference: JHB006257-AM-4Fully remote with the possibility of becoming hybrid Market related salary based on experienceOur client an IT Solutions company is seeking a highly motivated and energetic ServiceNow developer who will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow applications and workflows to optimize IT service management and automate business processes within an organization In order to be considered the following is required: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field JavaScript experience Several years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules Proficiency in development and customizing ServiceNow modules and integrating with other systems and applications Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment ServiceNow certification, such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), is preferred Responsibilities: Requirement analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements that can be implemented within the ServiceNow platform. Design and development: Design and develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform using various tools and technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow APIs. This involves creating and configuring ServiceNow applications, modules, forms, workflows, and integrations. Customization and configuration: Customize and configure ServiceNow applications to align with the organization's processes and workflows. This includes creating new modules, fields, tables, UI pages, and scripts. Integration: Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications within the organization's IT infrastructure, such as Active Directory, LDAP, monitoring tools, and external APIs. Develop and maintain integrations using web services, RESTful APIs, and other integration methods. Incident and problem management: Develop and maintain incident and problem management workflows within the ServiceNow platform to ensure efficient handling of IT issues and prompt resolution. Change management: Configure and customize change management processes within ServiceNow, including change requests, approvals, and tracking of changes. Testing and debugging: Conduct unit testing, system testing, and troubleshooting of ServiceNow applications to ensure they function correctly and meet the specified requirements. Documentation and knowledge sharing: Create technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and release notes. Share knowledge and provide training to other team members and end-users. Maintenance and support: Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements to existing ServiceNow applications and workflows. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and provide timely resolution. Stay updated with ServiceNow: Keep up to date with the latest features, functionalities, and best practices of the ServiceNow platform. Participate in ServiceNow community forums, webinars, and training to enhance knowledge and skills.
