Hire Resolve's client, a prominent company in the mining industry, is currently seeking an experienced Shaft Rigger to join their team. As a Shaft Rigger, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, inspection, and maintenance of rigging systems in vertical shafts. Responsibilities Install and dismantle rigging equipment in vertical shafts Inspect rigging systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards Perform maintenance and repairs on rigging equipment Coordinate and communicate with team members to execute rigging operations Follow safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment Maintain accurate records of rigging activities and inspections Provide training and guidance to junior riggers as necessary Requirements Proven experience as a Shaft Rigger in the mining industry A Valid Rigger trade certification In-depth knowledge of rigging techniques and equipment specific to vertical shafts Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in the mining industry Strong understanding of rigging calculations and inspection processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces Physical fitness and manual dexterity Benefits Salary: R350K/yr - R600K/yr, salary negotiable Training & Development Performance Bonus Health Insurance Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
