3 - 5 years relevant experience in the SHEQ related field
SAMTRAC certificate or equivalent occupational SHE training or Diploma
Technical or Engineering (in chemistry/Mechanical) Diploma
Qualification/experience in warehouse management advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
Ability to investigate incidences
ISO 45001:2018/14001:2015 ISO 9001:2015 MHI / EIA / AIA
Read, write reports and analyse information
Proficient and Microsoft
Attend and report on Companys Safety performance in the SHEQ meetings. at safety meetings and ensure statutory and regulatory compliance by conducting site audits
Ensure that the key requirements of SANS codes, SAGA, SACGA, NERSA, PER and other legal requirements are implemented and monitored
Establish HAZCHEM and HAZOP requirements and implement
Assist in the Implementation of MHI (Major Hazardous Installation) and EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment)
Conduct Health, Safety and technical audits at depots and customer sites
Ensure regular emergency response exercises and drills are conducted
Health and Safety in a highly technical, complex industrial environment
Be willing to travel to sites using the company vehicle or own vehicle if required
