Reporting to the Automation Group Leader, this position requires the services of an individual to ensure maintenance on hydraulic presses, industrial robots, CNC machines, PLC (include Safety) spot welding guns, laser welding as well as projects installations and planning. This individual will be required to work shifts. Communication Problem solving Ability to read and understand electrical drawings Electrical, hydraulic & PLC fault finding Ability to read and understand Hydraulic/Pneumatic drawings Able to programme Robotics and PLC Cross train subordinates & give support where and when required Skills required: Communication Problem solving Ability to read and understand electrical drawings Electrical, hydraulic & PLC fault finding Ability to read and understand Hydraulic/Pneumatic drawings Able to programme Robotics and PLC Cross train subordinates & give support where and when required Knowledge required PLC programming (Siemens, S5, S7, Festo, Omron) CNC (Indramat, Fidia, Fanuc) Robotics (Kuka, ABB, Motoman, Phillips, AEC) AC/DC Servo Drives experience Industrial communications networks Fault finding and press machinery repair Manufacturing processes Basic understanding of quality systems SCADA/HMI experience (Win CC, Wounderware Intouch, Xenon, Wincatext, Win Flex) Minimum requirements: N6 / National Diploma with 5-10 years' experience in automation/instrumentation field within the automotive environment. T3/S4 Diploma will be an advantage 5 years as a technician in the electrical field, especially in automation (hydraulics and general maintenance / project)
