SHIFT SETTER - PORT ELIZABETH - Port Elizabeth
Reporting to the Production Manager in Port Elizabeth, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following outputs: Assisting in achieving a production efficiency of 85% Assisting in ensuring that raw material wastage levels are maintained below 1.4% of material used Setting machines according to the best practices Conducting mould and material trials as required Reporting and assisting with machine and mould maintenance requirements Ensuring that machinery and moulds are effectively maintained, serviced and stored Ensuring top quality products are produced Practicing a high standard of housekeeping and safety Assisting with some fabricating in the factory as needed To be considered for this position applicants must meet the following criteria: N3 (mechanical, electrical or Instrumentation) or higher N qualification essential (trade not required) Preference will be for FMCG or Mechanical/Electrical experience At least 2 years work experience in a technical or maintenance role essential Must be able to work shifts and own transport is essential Extrusion Blow Moulding experience and experience with Uniloy machines essential
