Shipping and Sales Manager required for well-established Furniture Relocation and Transport Company for a Branch located in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth). Must be a self-motivated individual who operates well under pressure and is willing to get things done. · Liaise with export clients on all matters relating to relocation · Prepare export documentation to present to the clearing agent · Co-ordinate customs clearance procedures and shipments · Calculate quotations for outbound shipments including quote follow ups · Schedule bookings for shipment packing, collection and shipments · Liaise with shipping lines · Liaise with agents regarding packing and shipping documents · Assist with inbound shipment enquiries and quotations · General office administration tasks, when required · Sales – CRM system · Sales – surveys – volume and packing requirements and discussion with clients regarding documentation requirements · Internal as well as external Sales viewing costing · Customer service and correspondence · Weekly follow ups · Opening and updating files for secured moves · Attend job visits · Completion of tender requests · Marketing calls · International operations · Accruals and tonnage reports - Grade 12 with mathematics or relevant tertiary qualification - Valid driver's licence (minimum code 8) - Strong communicator - Previous Operations, Sales and Customer service experience - PC literacy - A geographical background and an understanding of relocations within the region - Deadline driven with ability to carefully assess and streamline processes To be discussed at interview
