Our client, a leading company in the logistics industry, is seeking a skilled and efficient Side Tipper Controller to join their dynamic team. This vital role involves overseeing the operation of side tipper trucks, ensuring timely and safe transport of goods. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring all side tipper activities to optimize fleet performance and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate the dispatch of side tipper trucks as per the transportation requirements.
Monitor the loading and unloading of goods to ensure they are handled correctly and efficiently.
Maintain constant communication with drivers to ensure timely delivery and address any issues on the road.
Ensure compliance with all safety and traffic laws.
Track and analyze the performance of the side tippers, providing reports on metrics such as fuel consumption, delivery times, and vehicle maintenance.
Implement and monitor a preventative maintenance schedule for all side tipper trucks.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure all vehicles are in excellent working condition.
Handle any logistical issues that arise, applying quick problem-solving skills to minimize delays.
Train new drivers on operational procedures and safety practices.

Valid drivers license; commercial driving experience is a plus.
Relevant certifications in logistics or fleet management are highly advantageous
