RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Silo Bag Depot Manager to join our client's team in the agricultural sector. Our client, based in Kestell, requires a dedicated individual to manage their silo bag depot operations and ensure smooth and efficient handling of agricultural products. As the Silo Bag Depot Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the depot, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of products. Your strong organizational and leadership skills will be essential in effectively managing a team and coordinating with suppliers and customers to ensure timely and accurate operations. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the silo bag depot, including receiving, inspecting, and storing agricultural products Coordinate product dispatch and ensure accurate order fulfillment Maintain depot inventory and ensure proper stock rotation Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment Manage and train depot staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations Liaise with suppliers and customers to coordinate product deliveries and resolve any issues Monitor and analyze depot performance metrics to identify areas for improvement Requirements Previous experience in managing a silo bag depot or similar agricultural storage facility Proven knowledge of agricultural product handling and storage practices Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to effectively coordinate and manage multiple tasks Proficiency in computer systems and software related to depot operations Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an agricultural environment Grading certified (Maize, Grain or Wheat) Benefits Salary: negotiable RPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
