Greetings to All. We trust you are well. We are looking for a Site Supervisor( must reside in Durban and surrounding areas) on behalf of a Client in the Warehousing industry . Please note that if you have right experience/skills in the above mentioned industry and you are available Immediately, kindly apply on this job post by attaching your detailed/comprehensive CV with all accompanying documentation such as : clear copy of ID, Matric certficate, Valid driver's license, Higher education certificate etc. The successful applicant will be required to perform/execute - but not limited to, the below duties/responsibilities: CRITICAL RELATIONSHIPS : All Clydesdale Clients : All Operations Staff : All employees KEY RESULT AREAS Ensure employees are on site 15 minutes prior to starting time. Meet and liaise with the client daily regarding stats and progress daily. Ensure that the correct staff is communicated and arranged timeously according to the client requirements. Ensure all employees receive the necessary induction. Train labour on the client policies, procedures, task and required daily documents correctly. Conduct a daily toolbox talk. Ensure that the labour has the basic PPE required by law. Ensure that the labour is neat at all times. Monitor productions targets. Council and discipline employees when required. Assist the zone controller and safety officer when there is an accident on site. Ensure that the timesheets are received and submitted timeously (within 48hrs of staff placement) and handled correctly. Distribute pay slips to employees. Ensure that wage queries are dealt with correctly and timeously. Record and submit employee details (Cell numbers, ID, Certificates, Bank details) to the Zone Controllers on a weekly basis. Write and submit detailed supervisor reports to management timeously. Liaise with management regarding nightshift plans and requirements. Report any discrepancies to management timeously. Carry out any other reasonable instruction given by management. Minimum Requirements Matric Valid Drivers License Code 8/10/14 with PrDP Knowledege and experience in a Supervisory role (in Warehousing industry : 2-5 years) Must be computer literate (experience with MS Word, Excel and Outlook) Fimiliar with completing Admin duties (report writting skills, keeping of employee information file/database etc) Knowledge and experience of Health and Safety processes and procedures on a work site Able to work shifts - be on standby (day and night shift) At least 3 years driving experience Take initiative/proactive Good problem-solving skills Good time-management skills Able to adapt and multitask when necessary The successful applicant will earn a Market related salary Apply Now
