PURPOSE OF ROLE The ability to investigate and apply expertise to data with an intended objective to deliver on the specific area of expertise. The ability to analyze data and extract trends to ensure improvement of processes and or customer satisfaction. This could be in the form of innovative ideas as well as the task of compiling reports. Engage and list the current challenges in the team/business and use expertise to Trouble shoot issues in order to provide workable solutions The ability to tackle a Problem with the intent of using expertise/capability and or experience to resolve speedily Perform quality assurance based on the specialized requirements of the role. Should be able to ensure strong stake holder management ito Communication i.e. feedback to clients, managing clients, responding to clients, attend to queries timeously Engage in a professional manner whether it be remotely verbal or face to face Have the ability to communicate via different communication channels Ensure that the brand or image of SEB is always maintained by adhering to the values (in keeping in line with the KPI and values of the company) Be a strong team player Have both both industry knowledge and experience Ensure that the role is carried out with the relevant accuracy, attention to detail and following instructions. Have the ability to innovate in the role Quality of work should be thorough Conscious of the abuse of company resources RESPONSIBILITIES Prospecting of new business clients. This will be for direct business and broker business. Prospecting will be done via phone and visits to the abovementioned clients. Present the company to potential clients (direct business or broker business). Face-to-face interaction with clients and presenting the SALT offering to clients will be required. Building and developing new business introductions and relationships. Opportunities need to be recognised and developed to the advantage of the organisation. A written strategy needs to be developed for each client. Develop engagement strategies. These strategies need to be documented and followed – up by regular meetings and communication. Feedback needs to be given to all relevant departments within the organisation to provide answers or follow-ups. Present to new potential or existing clients the complete value proposition. Finalise new fund or review documents and sign proposals. Submit abovementioned documents to the relevant departments within the organisation for them to be able to execute implementation. Achievement of approved targets. Targets will be set as agreed and monitored General Administration, filing and updating. Request risk quotations from different service providers and establish SLA’s with the providers. This must be done accurately and within the necessary SLA as agreed. Follow-up and liaise with different risk providers regarding outstanding quotations. The SLA must be used as guideline to secure that risk providers act within certain periods. Compile cost comparisons for clients regarding different risk providers and benefits. These comparisons must be of such a standard that it can be presented to the client to make an informed decision. Complete proposal document and member summary for SALT UMBRELLA FUNDS within 48 hours after receiving all the necessary information. Any queries regarding outstanding requirements should be dealt with in 24 hours after receiving information. Ensure the attendance list is completed and filed according to the FAIS requirements and that the parties meet all FAIS requirements. Manage team members diaries and arrangement of travelling logistics Coordination of meetings (internally and clients) Writing reports, as and when necessary Daily administration to ensure efficient running of schemes Keep records of all written communication with clients and internal departments Drawing up of quotations for SALT UMBRELLA FUNDS within 48 hours after receiving all the necessary documentation. Assist with the coordination of external marketing events and the logistics thereof. Assist with the supply and distribution of marketing material. Assist with coordination of business events and roadshows, as and when required Assist with the development of events calendar with the marketing team Attendance of industry events and networking sessions, as approved by the executives Introduce client relations consultant to client. Explain process to client and define the different roles each individual plays within managing the fund. Member presentations with client relations consultant. This should took place at least annually but preferable bi-annually with each client. Follow up with client relations consultant regarding finalisation of member booklets and any outstanding issues relating to any funds under administration. Establish relationships with all major unions and representatives and present company’s products and services. Provide written feedback to management regarding the progress Participate in work forums created by the employer such as Occupational Health and Safety and Employment Equity Maintain and improve communication in the team to increase its efficiency and quality of work. This must be done in writing and followed- up telephonically. Direct or indirect. (Direct meaning need to prospect directly/Indirect through IFA’s). Develop engagement strategies with all new clients as per the above. Present to new potential clients and also existing clients on the full Salt EB value proposition. Build and develop new business introductions and relationships Prepare member presentations and present to new/existing clients Business Retention Meet with employers to discuss the establishing of management committees. Coordinate meetings and minutes of meetings. Get quotations from all risk service providers for annual risk reviews and do comparison for clients. Arrange client meetings and presentations to provide annual feedback and maintain the relationship Maintain relationship with risk providers and arrange quarterly meetings with them for updates Administration Complete proposal documents for new clients within 48 hours after receiving all the necessary information. Ensure that the attendance list is completed and filed in accordance with the FAIS requirements. Write report and submit to supervisor after meetings Keep record of all written communication with clients/members including internal communication Assist with the coordination of external marketing events and the logistic thereof Assist with the supply and distribution of marketing material Attend industry events and networking sessions as approved by the executives Client Relations To improve and sustain good client relations with our existing clients and new clients. Client Relations also include the customer complaints and the way the individual deals with it on behalf of the company.
