They do work with all staff to define career paths and encourage mentoring as a way of helping pass on skills and knowledge for career advancement. Most of the work is for local clients but they do international off-shore development too. Responsibilities: Line management of all staff - 50 plus Managing retention and career paths. Working with the Head of HR and existing line management. Providing leadership, guidance and coaching. Capacity planning and understanding of skill sets. Assisting with the recruitment of technical staff. Understanding and managing the commercial aspects within the broader business. Assisting with the development of proposals. Building relationships with customers. Qualifications: Relevant Degree or 3/4-year technical Diploma. Strong theoretical programming grounding required. Combination of technical and business qualifications ideal. Skills / Experience: Technical background with proven solution delivery. Proven Agile experience. SDLC essential. Track record managing successful software delivery teams or business units. Experience delivering IT projects at scale into enterprise environments. Experience in managing customers. Experience in the following is essential: Working within a consulting environment. Experience in mentoring and growing staff.
