Our client in Banking Sector based in Johannesburg is looking for Software Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining software solutions, with a strong emphasis on database management and optimization. If you have a solid understanding of C#, VB.NET, and SQL and are passionate about creating efficient, reliable software applications, we want to hear from you. Develop and maintain software applications using C#, VB.NET, and other relevant technologies. Design, implement, and optimize SQL database structures and queries for performance and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical specifications. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards. Troubleshoot and debug software issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions. Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to established standards. Stay updated with the latest developments in C#, VB.NET, SQL, and related technologies, and recommend improvements and enhancements to existing systems. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience (3-5 years) as a Software Developer with proficiency in C# and VB.NET development. Strong understanding of SQL database design, optimization, and querying techniques. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational database management systems. Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ASP.NET is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Experience with version control systems such as Git is desirable. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate) are a p lus. Apply Now
