Develop, maintain, and deploy software applications as required | Interact with the development team to understand project requirements | Develop technical design specifications | Responsible for back-end programming and providing overall database support | Ensure that all Oracle subsystems and other systems are fully integrated | Provide maintenance and troubleshooting support to resolve technical issues with production systems | Installation and configuration of Oracle products and other software as required. Qualifications Degree in computer science or information systems Prior training required Oracle Certified PL/SQL Programmer desirable Skills required Strong understanding of Relational Database Management Systems and solid understanding of data modelling, normalisation and denormalisation techniques. Strong working knowledge of SQL and P/SQL. Strong experience with Oracle functions, procedures, triggers, packages Job specific technical skills The following is advantageous: Exposure to financial software or development of accounting systems | Oracle APEX development | Front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript | Server-side languages such as Python, Java, PHP | Mobile applications development | ArcGIS API for JavaScript | ArcGIS JavaScript Maps SDK. Personal attributes Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, end-users, and other technical staff. Must have good organisational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills. Prior experience Three years of recent experience with the following: Oracle Databases, SQL, and PL/SQL | Oracle Forms and Reports Builder | Oracle SQL Developer.
