Your days will involve client consultations, site assessments, and the development of construction documents. You'll coordinate projects, evaluate processes for improvement, and ensure successful renewable energy implementations. What you'll need To excel in this role, you'll need a degree from an accredited university and a strong background in electrical engineering. Experience with design software such as Helioscope and PVsyst is essential, along with proficiency in AutoCAD drafting. Familiarity with the National Electrical Code and a keen attention to detail, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, are required. Prior experience in renewable energy design, both commercial and industrial, will be highly advantageous.
