SPA MANAGER THIS IS AN INTERNATIONAL POSITION Location: Zanzibar, Tanzania Salary: 1000 USD Negotiable. Commission discussed at interview Position Overview: International five- star hotel requires a Spa Manager to run their upmarket oasis. The Spa is located on a beautiful world renowned beach resort. The ideal candidate should possess a mature professional demeanor, be able to adapt to different cultures whilst leading a team and providing excellent guest service. Requirements: Beauty Therapy Qualification: ITEC/CIDESCO/SAAHSP Minimum 5 years experience in a five star Spa environment. Cruise ship experience advantageous. Must be self motivated and well organized Exceptional Customer service drive with outstanding communication and active listening skills Be capable and at ease managing a team of six. Excellent quick problem-solving and multitasking skills Leadership skills along with the ability to motivate a team into high performance Ability to work flexible hours Strong sense of responsibility and a professional presentation Be adaptable to island lifestyle, tropical climate and managing of a diverse culture. Be target driven, motivate and inspire team to achieve it on a daily basis. Excellent written and oral command of the English language, Swahili beneficial. Possess a grounded, calm and professional demeanor Duties: Oversee spa employee development and training to ensure treatment protocols are maintained and retail targets are reached. Provide thorough and knowledgeable explanations of the spa’s services in order to maximize each sale and optimize guest satisfaction. Oversees staff work schedules. Schedule, plan, and facilitate effective and worthwhile staff meetings. Ensure Spa target is reached by driving front desk sales. Be efficient and on top of spa manual booking system. Coordinate inventory orders and help maintain the appearance of visual merchandising and displays.
