We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Spares Storeman to join our team. In this role, you will manage the inventory and ensure the smooth operation of our spares sales process. You will play a critical role in maintaining efficient inventory management and fostering positive relationships with customers. Manage the complete spares sales process, including quoting, order creation, picking lists, stock movements, and invoicing. Follow up on quotes to track acceptance or rejection. Oversee stock movements and update inventory records on Unity. Assist technicians with stocking kits, booking, and pre-picking parts for jobs on Unity and Portal. Prepare timely reports on backorders and in-transit items. Handle goods received vouchers (GRVs) and ensure parts are moved to the correct bin locations. Communicate inventory issues with stakeholders and understand the role of stock in the supply chain. File and record proof of deliveries. Determine the correct transit methods for orders 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role. Matric with Mathematics. Proficiency in computer literacy. Experience with inventory management software is advantageous. Technical knowledge to read and understand equipment drawings. Strong customer liaison skills for effective communication and relationship building. Behavioral and Technical Competencies: Experience in spares sales (internal and external issuing).
