We are currently seeking an experienced IT Auditor to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough audits of IT systems, processes, and controls to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards. Reporting to the appropriate leadership team, the IT Auditor will play a pivotal role in identifying and mitigating IT-related risks while fostering a culture of security and continuous improvement within the organization.Key Responsibilities: Plan, execute, and report on IT audit engagements, following established methodologies and timelines. Assess the effectiveness of IT controls, including IT General Controls (ITGCs) and IT security measures, to mitigate risks. Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors to facilitate audit planning and coordination efforts. Stay abreast of emerging trends and regulatory developments in the IT audit field to enhance methodologies. Prepare clear and concise audit reports, findings, and recommendations for presentation to senior management. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT auditing or related roles. Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks, control frameworks, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in conducting IT audits, risk assessments, and control evaluations across diverse platforms. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly. Detail-oriented and results-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. R 600000 - R 650000 - Annually
