Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Qlik Replicate Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing, optimizing, and supporting the Qlik Replicate environment, ensuring efficient and accurate data replication across various databases and platforms. The Qlik Replicate Administrator will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices to ensure the smooth functioning of data replication processes. Qlik Replicate Configuration and Management: Install, configure, and maintain Qlik Replicate software. Design and implement data replication strategies based on business requirements. Monitor and manage replication tasks to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Performance Optimization: Proactively identify and resolve performance issues to optimize data replication processes. Implement best practices for improving the efficiency of Qlik Replicate operations. Work closely with database administrators to ensure optimal database performance. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor replication processes, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues promptly. Collaborate with support teams to resolve technical problems related to Qlik Replicate. Implement and maintain monitoring tools to ensure the health of replication processes. Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security measures to protect sensitive data during replication. Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements. Perform regular audits to verify data integrity and security. Documentation and Training: Maintain comprehensive documentation of Qlik Replicate configurations and processes. Provide training and support to end-users and other IT teams on Qlik Replicate functionality. Collaboration: Collaborate with database administrators, developers, and other IT teams to integrate Qlik Replicate into the overall data architecture. Work closely with vendors to stay updated on the latest features, updates, and patches. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Qlik Replicate Administrator or in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of data replication concepts and strategies. Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL. Experience with performance tuning and optimization. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of data security and compliance. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: Qlik Replicate certification. Experience with other data integration tools. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell). Hourly rate is based off experience and quaifications, negotiable.
