ROLE SUMMARY: To adopt an aspirant view to students in their care, promoting the progress and well-being of individuals and of any class or group assigned to them. Under their guidance our students will become Interested and Interesting. To create a positive learning environment and motivate students to achieve their full potential. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Meet and manage all safeguarding protocols and policies. Manage all Water Polo teams, coaches, fixtures, events and supporting logistics. Coach in at least one Sporting code - therein to plan, prepare and present engaging sessions. Teach a Grade 8 and or 9 Physical Education class. Assist with the management of the winter sports programme Attend relevant Reddam sports tours as either the coach or manager. To attend all occasions appropriate to the position To be a Tutor teacher, ensuring effective pastoral care for a group of students Where relevant, write informative report comments. To undertake any other reasonable tasks that the School Heads / Heads of Sport determine WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Able to set clear expectations and stretching goals Adaptable style that drives for high performance Genuine care and attention for the highest standards of student and team welfare Ability to judge learning effectiveness. Excellent preparation and planning Assessment of student outcomes to enhance performance. The ability to engage and 'interest' children.
