Remuneration: R12 000 starting salary, dependent on skill set, knowledge, and experience, they are willing to adjust the remuneration package Applicants from the Automotive Industry who have similar experience are welcome to apply for this vacancy. Purpose Of The Job: One of the worlds most respected and leading Aircraft Manufacturers (Light Aviation), require a knowledgeable and experienced Spray Painter, to join their amazing Team Key Responsibilities: Execute plan as per daily spray-painting schedule and ensure paints & consumables needed is ordered prior to start of daily tasks Knowledge of Preparing Composites & Aluminum aircraft components Spray paint application and touch up by means of masking, sanding, line tape application, Tak Rag and buffing Inspect all components for any damages or defects before and after the spray-painting process Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks Ensure adherence to the Companies quality standards Keep all equipment and areas clean Ensure all Hazardous waste (solid and liquid) is stored and handled correctly Ability to improve and control orange peel and paint structure issues To maintain and uphold a high level of housekeeping in accordance with the company’s 5s policy Ad-hoc tasks and duties may be assigned to you from time to time by a member of Company management Essential Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) Must be proficient in English with the ability to read, write and speak the language The ideal candidate must have a minimum of a year of hands-on experience and be able to produce a high quality of workmanship.
