We are hiring for Sql Database Administrator for one of our banking clients Johannesburg for 12 months contract. Description: To ensure the installation; design; configuration; upgrade; administration; monitoring and maintenance of databases and associated software products in support of operational systems and the development environment. To ensure the integrity; reliability; efficiency and security of enterprises data. Deliverables: • Database Support and Maintenance • Daily Health Checks • Database management • Client Support • Standby / Afterhours work SQL Mongo (major advantage to have) Understanding of SQL Server Always On Azure Cloud Diploma / Degree in information systems Microsoft certificate (good to have) Azure Fundamentals (good to have) Consultant will work hybrid-flex therefore needs to be in Johannesburg or be able to come to 135 Rivonia Road, Sandton, as and when required. (May be required in the office three days a week. TBC). Consultant will work remotely from home and must have stable internet and a backup solution for loadshedding (crucial). (Alternative solutions can be utilized such as Nedbank satellite offices or Nedbank Branches in emergency situations)
