Duration: 6 months minimum contract Location: Cape Town We are seeking a highly skilled ETL/ SQL Server Developer to join our client in Cape Town for a 6-month contract role. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of complex queries and extensive experience in data management. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Create and maintain complex SQL queries to extract, transform and load data from various sources Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data accuracy Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with ETL processes and data quality Optimize ETL processes for improved performance and scalability Develop and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and data flows Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in SQL Server ETL development Strong understanding of complex SQL queries and data manipulation techniques Experience with SSIS and other ETL tools Knowledge of data warehousing principles and best practices Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience in financial or investment industry is a plus
