MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Enrolled Nursing Assistant Certificate is essential. 2 years Training as a nurse is essential. Minimum of 1 year as an Enrolled Nurse is essential. Valid medical certificate or be medically fit to obtain such a certificate is essential. Registration with SANC Computer literacy and efficiency Knowledge of QMED system KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: The successful candidate will be responsible to: To ensure that relevant information is provided for clients/patients to make informed choices. To prevent the spread of communicable diseases. To ensure that patients receive quality, compassionate, and ethical care To provide patient and family education, counselling, and support To promote nutritional status of patients. To monitor intake and output in patients. To ensure that health and professional regulations are adhered to. To prevent medico legal hazards at all costs, by maintaining proper record keeping To maintain safety and the well-being of patients and health care workers. To ensure effective supervision of subordinates and work under direct or indirect supervision. To always ensure and maintain a therapeutic environment as possible. To administers prescribed medications, apply sterile dressings, perform phlebotomy, and monitors vital signs.
