Hertex is a family-run business that's focused on achieving excellence in everything it does. We are looking for a Stock Control Co-Ordinator to join our team, based in Stikland, Bellville. ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS/HAUS STOCK – DC: Co-ordinating and overseeing Additional Products/HAUS stock counts. Investigate discrepancies and take action to limit these. Administering continuous stock take for Additional Products/HAUS Minimizing any Additional Products/HAUS stock losses Ensure that all stock control tools and equipment are in working order(e.g. printers, tag guns, computers) To assist with identifying possible solutions for problems that might arise in stock control department Accountable for Additional Products/HAUS stock control staff STOCK CONTROL: Assist Additional Products/HAUS stock controller with daily stock queries Investigate to find the problem and implement procedures to eliminate the problem Open bins to be arranged by design (as far as possible) All bins to be clearly numbered and tagged with a barcode Monitor adjustments and investigate the reason for them Analyse the adjustment report and stock take report to identify problem designs or suppliers. Communicate this to purchasing department. SALE: Assisting with the preparation and managing of the Annual Warehouse Sale in conjunction with the Stock Control Manager. QUERIES AND COMPLAINTS: Assist and resolve any queries/complaints directed at Additional Products/HAUS TARGETS (Additional Products/HAUS stock control staff): To set targets for workers – refer to KPA's To monitor targets and report to management COST EFFECTIVE (stock control) Ensure that Additional Products/HAUS operation is cost effective Overtime should be limited or kept to a minimum Ensure equipment is looked after REPORTS Compiling weekly and monthly reports for Additional Products/HAUS Compiling variance report after each stock count for Additional Products/HAUS Stand in for Stock control manager to compile and send month end reports if need be. HOUSEKEEPING Ensure that the warehouse is neat and tidy Ensure that stock is stored according to ranges (when possible), clearly allocated to shelve space Matric 3 years or more experience in stock control management
