Block stock management Is this job for you?MatricComputer LiterateAt 3 years' experience in stock controlle / Inventory management.SAP knowledgeGood knowledge of Safe disposals.Good knowledge of Returns processComputer Literacy (specifically advanced MS Office: Excel)Must have strong problem solving skillsMust have a hands-on approach to work.Passion for inventory management and stock management processesTo make sure nothing is forgottenApply continuous improvement principles to inventory management policies and procedures aligned with the business requirements.Coordinate planning and execution of physical inventory and maintenance item counts (Cycle counts, Month end counts and year end counts)Accountable for variance investigations.Responsible Blocked stock and Quality stock management.Responsible for Safe disposal and rework of Block stock.Processing stock returns, daily.Claims investigation and resolution.Processing of Purchase RequisitionsMeasure and drive performance improvement in key operational and profitability metrics such as stock record accuracy (SRA) - Target 99% stock accuracy.Effective control of FIFO principles and practices (RM and FG)Audit inventory transactions - inbound and outbound.Assist with other inventory related tasks (i.e. blind checks) when requiredAudit inventory management process compliance.Monthly stock accuracy reporting in line with our KPI'sAudit Warehouse/Production stock bookings.Conduct random audits on Return putaway placements: 100% accuracyMonitor and maintain all quality restricted stock to ensure that it is not picked and dispatched to customers.Ensure all quality restricted stock and Blocked stock is isolated on the floor and moved to restricted ware (Quality) in SAP.To create an efficient working environment through clear communicationReport and escalate slow moving stock and ensure action (sell / scrap) is taken by relevant stakeholders. Provide support and guidance on the placement (location) of inventory to the Operations and Logistics team.Consult with Management teams regarding challenges or constraints.
