Saint Gobain Why do we need you?The role will primarily focus on the strategic management and control of Weber's inventory across all sites, ensuring optimal stock levels for sales and production while working with the respective plants on their stock profilesIs this job for you?3-year Supply Chain degree or equivalent3 - 5 years relevant experience in supply chain disciplines.Computer Literacy (specifically advanced SAP ,MS Office: Excel)Exposure stock management process redesign.Written and verbal communication.Solid experience of stock handling, logistics and warehousingKnowledge of continuous improvement techniquesMust have strong problem solving skillsStrong analytical skills combined with excellent business acumen.Must have a hands-on approach to work.Inventory management and stock management processes.To make sure nothing is forgottenApply continuous improvement principles to inventory management policies and procedures aligned with the business requirements.Measure and drive performance improvement in key operational and profitability metrics such as stock record accuracy (SRA) - Target 99% stock accuracy.Ensure inventory holding policies, procedures and processes are documented.Refine processes with Finance to ensure proper stock treatment and compliance with ICRF.Effective control of FIFO principles and practices (RM and FG).Audit inventory management process compliance for Weber sites.Review and audit inventory master data accuracy.Report and escalate slow moving stock and ensure action (sell / scrap) is taken by relevant stakeholders.ABC/XYZ anlaysis and implementationEngage, present and gain agreement from relevant business stakeholders on inventory management strategies.Coordinate planning and execution of physical inventory and maintenance item counts (Cycle counts, Month end counts and year end counts)Establish and manage product and location specific safety stock levels.Provide support and guidance on the placement (location) of inventory to the Operations and Logistics team.Consult with Management teams regarding challenges or constraints.Warehouse/Production stock bookings.Spend time in warehouses to coach on the topic, physically review and validate, clean where needed, recommend improved processes / management action.Conduct random audits on stock putaway placements: 100% accuracyConduct random audits on stock picking accuracy: 100% accuracyAssist with stock queriesMonitor and maintain all quality restricted stock to ensure that it is not picked and dispatched to customers.Ensure all quality restricted stock is isolated on the floor and moved to restricted ware (Quality) in SAP.Responsible to maintain a working and practical housekeeping plant.Work close with H&S on all relevant stacking requirements and execution of such.To create an efficient working environment through clear communicationAll such duties and/or activities assigned by management/board as and when required. 3-year Supply Chain degree or equivalent3 - 5 years relevant experience in supply chain disciplines.Computer Literacy (specifically advanced SAP ,MS Office: Excel)Exposure stock management process redesign.Written and verbal communication.Solid experience of stock handling, logistics and warehousingKnowledge of continuous improvement techniquesMust have strong problem solving skillsStrong analytical skills combined with excellent business acumen.Must have a hands-on approach to work.Inventory management and stock management processes.
