The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc. JOB SUMMARY The successful applicant will be responsible for the following: - Manage a hectic daily delivery schedule for food and beverage stock, overseeing various tasks such as receiving deliveries and meticulously verifying them against orders and invoices. - Efficiently organize stock placement in designated areas, prioritizing proper rotation to maintain freshness. - Conduct temperature checks on food deliveries to ensure compliance with safety standards. - Coordinate routine stocktakes with relevant managers. - Communicate with suppliers to address any stock-related issues promptly. - Enforce the First In, First Out (FIFO) rule consistently to optimize inventory management. - Record and manage invoices and internal transfers in the inventory system for accurate tracking and accountability. JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum requirements: - Grade 12 certificate - Mathematics passed rate 50% or higher. - Complete understanding of Excel and Word applications - Two years' experience in Stores receiving and dispatching. - Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. - Computer literacy essential - Must be in excellent health and physically fit. - Accuracy and speed in packing and picking. - Positive attitude, self-disciplined and a motivated TEAM player - Punctual, attention to detail and Problem-solving - Must be able to work and perform well under pressure.
