Storman Controller Experience : Supply Chain, Warehousing FMCG industry, and mechanical background Matric Knowledge: FIFO Health & Safety regarding food processes Zero variance on stock theoretical and physical quantities Accuracy of data in IFS Reduction of obsolete stock Duties: Check the imported stock against the file and packing slip and sign for them; Issue the spares to the Technicians ensuring that both you as Storeman and the Technician sign the requisition; Pack the imported stock into the allocated bays once they have been GRV’d; Managing the deliveries and collections; Managing of ±5 warehouse staff; Closing up of the warehouse; On receipt of requisitions from the Technicians, pick the spares required; Assist with stock take preparation and pre-counting; Preparing the warehouse for stock taking; Participate in quarterly stock takes (work on weekends); Ensure security, good housekeeping and safety of stock in the store; High level stock control and stock management, ensuring no stock outs and / or no overstocking; Assist with stock counts and returns to suppliers; Properly conducting / executing monthly stock takes, ensuring no adverse variances; Proper control of stock (receipting and issuing) in line with official purchase orders and requests from the factory Supervision: Conduct quality checks of stock received and provide feedback to the Plant Foreman on all encountered problems with suppliers around the quality of supplied products. Supervise storage rotation (FIFO) Conduct daily inspections and checks Keep Record of Parts and daily stock in and out of Storeroom. Check Job cards , put in Report deviations from expected temperatures Log and follow up on calls related to maintenance Ensure reports meet stakeholder expectations Computer literate Able to work at night if required
