The Storeroom controller within our Warehouse and Logistics Department is responsible for maintaining the stock levels in the welding store, housekeeping of the store essential and cycle counts on a regular basis. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager - Operations Paterson Grade: B5 Key Responsibilities: Operations: Coordinate stock control operations with warehousing staff. Placing and receiving orders to replenish stock holdings. Overseeing stock storage process. [FIFO/Labeling]. Maintaining a steady flow of stock from storage to require facilities. Administration: Analyse supply chain data to ensure uninterrupted availability of stock. Tracking shipments and coordinating internal stock transfers. Resolving delays and queries. Reporting: Cycle counts to Warehouse Manager System queries to Warehouse Manager Stock requirements to Procurement Defective stock to QC Essential Requirements: National Senior Certificate [essential] General experience minimum 2 years [recommended] Degree in Logistics/Business Administration [advantageous] Advanced knowledge of SAP and Inventory Management Software. Advanced knowledge of Inventory and Supply Chain Data analysis. Responsible for maintaining the companies stock inventories to meet the business requirements. Analyse supply chain data to ensure stock availability, placing orders and transferring stock. Replenish stock levels and oversee shipments inbound/outbound.
