Requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric)
Basic understanding of mathematics and physics
Engineering/Draughting certificate or diploma
Autodesk suite of programs such as AutoCAD (Proficiency 10+ years) & Bim360 (Proficiency 5+ Years)
Revit (Proficiency 5+ Years) Non-negotiable
Knowledge of reinforcement steel and structural steel (Non-negotiable)
Basic understanding of structures (Concrete, Steel, and timber)
Ability to assess and understand architectural layouts to coordinate and overlay with structural layouts

Experience That Sets You Apart:

Minimum 10+ Years in retail, commercial, and residential type steel and concrete structures (Mining, Timber, Petrochemical, and Agriculture experience is a plus)
A thorough understanding of reinforcement steel and detailing (Preparation of bending schedules)
Preparation of concrete drawings (layouts, sections, and details)
Preparation of structural steel layouts, sections, and details
Site experience assisting the engineer/project manager with site inspections, measurements, and surveys is advantageous
