Structural Engineer - - Cape Town City Centre

Key Responsibilities

Structural design, drafting and detailing
Liaise with team members and contractors
Compilation of Reports & Technical Specifications
Interaction with Clients and interfacing with multi-disciplinary engineering teams

Desired Experience & Qualification
Key Requirements

Must have B. Eng or BSc. Eng degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
Registration as a Candidate or Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) with ECSA is essential
5-6+ years' post qualification experience in structural and civil engineering essential
Design experience in building services
Experience in reinforced concrete, steel and masonry design will be highly advantageous.
The successful candidate must be versed in Autocad, Probar 2D, Revit and the Prokon design packages such as Sumo and Frame.
Must also be proficient in Word and Excell
Valid Drivers License, own transport and prepared to travel, work on construction sites
Must be Cape Town based or prepared to relocate to Cape Town
Adherence to office hours and availability for overtime as and when required to meet deadlines
Candidates must be medically fit and able to visit and work on construction sites
