Our client, a Civil Engineering Firm in the Bellville area, is looking to appoint a Structural Engineering Technician, with at least 5 years' experience in a Civil Engineering environment. Preparation of conceptual, preliminary and detailed construction drawings on road infrastructure projects (geometric and/or bridge structures). Preparation of bending schedules on bridges, major culverts and other road related structures; Assist with the preparation of project specifications and schedules of quantities; Assist with site supervision duties and bridge/culvert inspections; Applying the Quality Management System. 3D Modelling and BIM implementation an added advantage. Qualifications and Experience: National Diploma in Civil Engineering Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office; Addobar or experience in the use of similar detailing software; Revit software experience an added advantage; BIM360 Knowledge; and Own reliable transport. 2 years as Structural Engineering Technician in a Civil Engineering environment.
