Reference: CPT002365-Yon-1 Our client, a highly reputable education brand is looking to hire a Student Services Officer. The primary purpose of the Student Services Officer role is to ensure efficient and effective administration of student services and operations. This encompasses managing student enrolment processes, maintaining accurate student records, handling financial transactions, and addressing various student and agent inquiries. The role also involves supervising the Student Services Assistant, contributing to the smooth running of office and facilities management, and maintaining strong internal and external relationships. Integral to this position is the commitment to providing high-quality customer service, upholding the Centre's operational standards, and facilitating a supportive and organized environment for both students and staff. Scope of responsibilities Overseeing student administration and records, managing financial transactions and records, addressing student and agent inquiries, maintaining office and facilities, supervising the Student Services Assistant. Regular supervision from the Centre Manager, including periodic reviews, guidance, and feedback. Direct supervision of the Student Services Assistant, including task delegation, performance monitoring, and providing training and support. Routine administrative decisions, resolution of standard student and financial queries, office maintenance decisions, and initial handling of agent concerns. Complex student issues, major financial decisions, policy changes, significant operational changes, and escalated agent or student conflicts. Regular interaction with the Centre Manager, other administrative staff, teaching staff, and various departments for student-related matters, finance, and facility management. Frequent communication with students, recruitment agents, accommodation providers, service vendors, and external organizations related to visa and immigration services. Minimum qualifications & experience More than 4 years of experience in a Student Services role with significant exposure to international students, of which 2 years is specific relevant experience in a Student Services role in the EFL industry An undergraduate degree Preferred qualifications and experience General TEFL qualification and more than 2 years EFL teaching experience of which 1 year is specific relevant experience Experience of living and working abroad Skills and knowledge Proficiency in effectively conveying and receiving information through verbal, written, and digital channels. Ability to manage tasks and responsibilities efficiently, maintaining order and structure in day-to-day activities. Aptitude for identifying issues and determining effective solutions in a timely manner. Competence in addressing client needs with professionalism and understanding, ensuring positive interactions. Capability to handle financial tasks such as processing payments and maintaining accurate records. Skill in interacting positively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering a supportive environment.
