Sunninghill, Johannesburg: FUEL STATION MANAGER
Minimum Requirements:
-Mature and reliable individual
-Afrikaans and English first and second languages a must (Fully proficient in both a must)
-Excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans and English a must
-Matric / Grade 12
-2 to 3 years Fuel Station Management experience a must
-Excellent computer literacy in MS Excel and MS Word
-WinBranch / Fuel Station Back Office and POS Systems experience highly preferred
-Working knowledge and experience in reporting fuel sales, fuel stock management and ordering
-Proactive, target driven and customer focussed
-Good leadership and decision making skills
-Excellent communication skills
-Good reporting and financial acumen
-Good planning and organising skills
-Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
-Residing near Sunninghill a must (within daily commuting distance)
-Stable employment record and contactable references a must
-To start as soon as possible
Duties:
-Full fuel station management duties
-Oversee Convenience Store Manager and Back Office operation and provide support where necessary whilst focusing on improving the Forecourt operation and customer experience.
-Staff Management (Support a large team in a demanding environment, monitor ongoing training and compliance with standards of operation, staff rostering etc.)
-Operations Management (Manage day-to-day operations, fuel stock levels, facilitate ordering and receiving of fuel etc.)
-Ensure team follows standard operating procedures for all operational functions.
-Forensic Management (Conduct regular audits and investigations to deter and eliminate fraud/theft, management of fraud/theft occurrences, disciplinary action etc.)
-Facility Management
-Conduct targets reviews and report cost plans to senior management
-Development, implementation, and review of outcomes of operations assigned projects as and when required.
-Development of policy and procedure in order to ensure controls, compliance, and formality of the operations environment, reducing risk and improving performance.
Salary: R 20 000.00 R 25 000.00 gross maximum (Depending on relevant experience)
