Our company is seeking a strong and skilled leader to join our dynamic stores team as a Supervisor/2IC at our various stores based in various malls in KZN and Gauteng. The successful candidate will assist management in day-to-day store maintenance while providing excellent customer service and observing and maintaining all store policies and procedures. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensures the highest level of service is given to each customer. As needed, completes any regular sales transactions. Involved in ensuring all products go through the GRV process which includes checking all paperwork against goods received. Manages and assists in product flow from stockroom to sales floor on a daily basis. Ensure that company assets and stock is always secured in order to alleviate shrinkage. Assists in the development of displays of merchandise or follow suggestions or schedules provided by the store management team. Attain proficiency with the point-of-sale system by acquiring system utilization skills. Ensure integrity is maintained through attention to policy and procedure. Uses selling techniques such as add on sales and describing nutritional information to customers to enhance salesmanship and reach store and sales goals. Maximise incomes streams for the store by introducing innovative ideas and merchandising of products. Greets customers in the store and assists them in finding the right product and retaining customer base. Reinforce a culture of service minded staff to ensure customer satisfaction Maintaining general housekeeping standards, rules and procedures Facilitate the training and development of employees to ensure correct competency Manage and enhance employee relations and satisfaction Ensure implementation and adherence to all relevant company policies, procedures, system requirements & standing instructions Matric Qualification with Maths Computer literacy Microsoft Office 2 years management experience 2-3 years Retail experience Willing to work flexible retail hours including weekends and public holidays. Knowledge and understanding of Frontline/ Cash up processes and Online Banking. Staff management skills Ability to provide excellent customer service Knowledge of stock rotation Knowledge of spices and cooking Outstanding organizational and leadership skills. Experience in handling labour in a professional manner.
