Our client is looking to employ a supervisor for the Manufacturing Plant. You will be responsible for the boerewors/sausage production process. Most recent payslip must be submitted with the CV Salary expectation needs to be provided Driver's license and own car This position is in Boekenhout (Cullinan), so travelling costs should be considered (someone residing in Cullinan / Rayton / Northern suburbs of Pretoria will be ideal) Job Purpose Supervise the end-to-end production process, incl. filling, drying, packing, wrapping, labelling of all boerewors/sausage, burgers, meatballs and pets mince. Reporting to: Manufacturing Plant Senior Supervisor Output: Production Responsible for boerewors/sausage production process. Develop, review and implement efficient and effective procedures and processes to optimize production. Responsible for the delivery of product according to a set standard, at a reasonable cost and productivity. Stock control management (stock rotation). Ensure product meets all customer requirements especially but not limited to product appearance, packing and labelling. Oversee that hygiene standards are applied throughout all process and procedures. Responsible for the application of the correct selection criteria and quality standards (e.g. neatness; sequence etc.) of labelling. Ensure that all procedures are implemented in accordance with legal requirements e.g. hygiene. Report all non-conformances (quality and maintenance) to immediate manager and apply effective remedial action according to company procedures. People Supervision Supervise and control subordinate's activities to ensure daily production targets are met. Supervise time and attendance of all subordinates. Ensure disciplinary procedures are applied adequately. Assure stable employee relations by managing conflict and creating a positive and performing working environment. Qualification details Grade 12 Experience 3 – 5 years manufacturing plant / meat production experience Functional Competencies Process management Technical skills Systems orientated Decision quality Planning skills Slaughtering techniques / skill Knowledge of MP environment Computer literacy Salary: R 25,000 CTC per month (NO FEEDBACK WILL BE GIVEN ON CV'S IF THE CANDIDATE'S SALARY EXPECTATION AS WELL AS MOST RECENT PAYSLIP IS NOT INCLUDED) This is a TCTC package – no additional benefits Closing date : ASAP
