Job Title: Supply Chain and Purchasing OfficerLocation: Gauteng Hire Resolves Client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Supply Chain and Purchasing Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the procurement and inventory management processes to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of their supply chain.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and efficiency.Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and prices for materials and services.Monitor inventory levels and manage inventory control to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.Maintain accurate records and documentation related to purchasing activities and supplier contracts.Conduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.Identify and implement process improvements to streamline purchasing and supply chain operations.
