Supply Chain Assistant Location: Benrose Salary: R12 000 – R15 000 plus benefits after probation Main Duties/ Responsibilities. Facilitating of all Transportation/Logistic’s (Local) Obtaining quotes, liaising with transporter’s and informing branches. Capturing PO’s and supplier invoices Capture all signed PI’s onto Evolution. Capturing of freight. Preparing shipments paperwork for clearing. Internal branch transfers and stock movements Inventory Journals (branch mixtures). Facilitating (admin) for monthly stock takes. Daily filing and record keeping for the department. Preparing reports for Exco and sales meetings (Daily/Weekly). Email all incoming container lists to branches/companies – Weekly. General administration duties Minimum requirements: Grade 12 A diploma or degree will be an added advantage. A minimum of 2 years previous experience in supply chain administration is essential. Excellent written and communication skills. Accuracy and problem-solving skills. Ability to work and liaise across a number of departments and functions. Positive attitude and team player. Ability to work under pressure and good time management skills
